Rate Types

Indicates the way that product rates should be interpreted for :doc:`Job Products <jobproducts>`.

ID      Description           Meaning

1       Rate/Acre             The rate value is interpreted as the Rate/Acre and the total product for the job is then calculated based on the total acres.
2       Total Product         The rate value in interpreted as the Total Product for the job and the Rate/Acre value is calculated for the product based on the total acres.
3       Fertility/Acre        Used when the user wants GCO to calculate the Rate/Acre and Total Product based on the desired Fertility/Acre depending on the primary nutrient and the density of the product. NOTE: this Rate Type is not valid when creating jobs via the API.
